hospital as an invalid. 2nd and 3rd fingers of left hand missing. Flesh wounds in right thigh, right gum and face.
Limited movement in hip joint and right wrist.
Wounded while consolidating trenches close to Messines sector near canal. Sent to No.4 N.Z. Field Ambulance
then to 2nd Australian C.C.S. Evacuated to 83rd Dublin Gen. Hosp.(Boulogne). G.S.W. R. Hip. R. arm, L hand, R shoulder
and face. Wounds excised. Foreign body removed from right thigh. Amputation of 2nd and 3rd fingers left hand - barrel tubes.
Pension: Recommended.
